Adding Your First Provider

Providers are the practitioners in your clinic who see patients. You need at least one provider before patients can book.

Creating a Provider

Go to Providers in the dashboard sidebar. Click Add Provider and enter:

• Name — the provider’s display name (shown to patients during booking)
• Minimum Advance Hours — how far in advance patients must book (default: 24 hours). This prevents last-minute bookings that might disrupt your schedule.

Setting Availability

After creating a provider, set their weekly schedule:

• Click the provider card to expand their schedule editor
• Add time blocks for each day they’re available
• You can add multiple blocks per day (e.g., 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm for a lunch break)
• Days without blocks are treated as days off

Blocking Time Off

Use Blocked Times to mark vacations or recurring unavailability:

• One-off dates — select a specific date to block
• Recurring patterns — use WEEKLY:MON (every Monday), BIWEEKLY:FRI (every other Friday), or MONTHLY:1:MON (first Monday of each month)

Tip: The minimum advance hours setting is per-provider. A specialist might want 48 hours notice, while a hygienist might accept same-day bookings with just 2 hours notice.
