Calendar Sync

Connect your calendar to automatically create events when patients book and remove them when appointments are cancelled. Chimera supports three calendar providers.

CalDAV

Works with any CalDAV-compatible calendar: iCloud, Nextcloud, Radicale, Zimbra, and more.

Setup requires your CalDAV server URL, username, and an app-specific password (not your regular password). The setup page includes guides for each provider.

Google Calendar

Connect via Google OAuth. After authorizing, select which calendar to sync events to. Events are automatically created and deleted as appointments change.

Note: Google Calendar integration is currently in beta. Google’s OAuth consent screen is in testing mode with a 100-user limit while we await verification.

Outlook Calendar

Connect via Microsoft OAuth. Uses the Microsoft Graph API to manage calendar events.

Note: Outlook Calendar integration is currently in beta, pending Microsoft publisher verification.

Scope Options

Each calendar app can be configured as:

• Clinic-wide — syncs all appointments across all providers
• Per-provider — syncs only appointments for a specific provider

PHI Certification

Each app has a PHI certification toggle. When enabled, patient names appear in calendar event titles. When disabled, events show generic titles (e.g., “Appointment”) for privacy.
